SINPHONIA Working On New Material

SINPHONIA, the Danish dark melodic metal band featuring ex-SIRENIA singer Monika Pedersen, HATESPHERE drummer Dennis Buhl, CHAOSWAVE guitarist Henrik "Guf" Rangstrup, and newly added bassist Leif N (JANUARY JAUNT),has commenced work on new material. The group — which has released two full-length albums so far (2000's "When the Tide Breaks" and 2001's "The Divine Disharmony") through Lucretia Records — is searching for a new label home for its upcoming third CD. The as-yet-untitled new effort is scheduled for release late next year.

According to a press release, SINPHONIA's new material will not be far removed from that on the 2005 "Silence" EP, although it will include "a darker yet more melodic touch."
